Munk & GOMMA Records - snippets from Berlin

The more international music I write about on the blog, the more pressure I got to write in English. So, today this is my first blog post in English, probably more are coming soon. Zsuzsi and I recently spent a couple of days in Berlin, which was a massive memorable time (thanks to Andreas, Matt, Marcus and everyone else we've met). Those days meant an intensive dose of deep house music (serious body and mind fuck). And kind of techno too, I guess.
On a Sunday afternoon after luckily(?) not being able to enter two clubs we finally ended up at Else. 3-4 shots of Palinka already drinken and we found ourselves on the dancefloor around 5PM. At Else, Munk was this guy, who selected the following music during the afternoon. Unfortunately I can't remember much that happened afterwards but we also visited Else's sister: Renate, a place that is just on the opposite site of the river.
So about Munk: he is one of the GOMMA Records' founders while he's also doing his solo projects (for news check their website or their YouTube channel). Original tracks and finely selected music in his mixes, summer vibes, a little pop house but in an intelligent way and you can't stop sitting on your ass when Munk starts DJing.
First, I show you his fresh summer mix and then you can find a playlist from the tracks I definetely love.

When I heard this track at Else I went to the decks and asked him what it was because it just absolutely blew my mind: a perfect bootleg of old school soul and house music.

Fortunately, Munk is releasing vinyls too, so right after saving enough for the Technics turntables, my wallet can't feel safe anymore - nor my PayPal account.
Here are my favourite tracks from Munk (including two Moullinex tracks and one James Curd Remix - GOMMA releases too):
