Northern Soul
A Nortern Soul a hatvanas évek közepétől, végétől jelent meg a Királyságban. Alapvetően az afroamerikai soulból és a motown hangulatából építkezik. Frank Popp Ensemble, vagy Smoove & Turrell nagyokat merítenek ezekből a dallamokból.
Nemrég készült el egy dokumentumfilm a témában. A Northern Soul film itthon majd vmikor 2012-ben jelenik meg (a téma mozis forgalmazáshoz sztem túl szubkulturális). Angliában viszont elvileg már november végétől – na, mégiscsak róluk, nekik szól. A plakáthoz katt ide!
